My journey began in retail at 15, but by my late twenties, I shifted to a career where I could make a meaningful impact. After two years volunteering in prisons, mentoring youth and supporting individuals with mental health challenges, a pivotal charity bike ride in Cambodia solidified my decision to pursue outreach work.
I returned to study at 29, completing multiple Certificate IVs and a Diploma in Dual Diagnosis at RMIT. I’ve since held senior roles across major organisations in mental health, housing, and advocacy.
Outreach Excellence was founded from my passion for supporting others. We provide tailored outreach services, meeting participants where they are and offering practical assistance, advocacy, and support.
I am an artist, a mother of two, and a former educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art and a Postgraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Primary and Secondary Education. With 12 years of experience teaching in Victoria’s government schools, I have always been driven by a passion for helping others and positively contributing to the community.
Today, I balance my artistic practice—spanning digital art, sculpture, and art toy making—with meaningful work in community support. I specialise in providing art tutoring, cooking classes, advocacy, support with daily living skills, and organising social outings.
Guided by a philosophy of kindness, I approach both my work and life as I do my art: with a pinch of whimsy and a rainbow palette, bringing creativity and care to everything I do.
